There are three seperate essential oils derived from Lavender, the
essential Lavender most know, Lavandin which is distilled from a hybrid
of true Lavender and Spike Lavender, and the last is Spike Lavender,
a relative of true Lavender.
Though the scents are different, the main constituents of the essentail
oils are very similiar and the uses of the oils coincide.
The magickal uses of the Lavenders include: purification, love (to
attract men), sleep and meditation formulas and in healing.
