| Clannad - In my opinion, the most important Irish band (far more important than the self aggrandizing, style victims with their two symbol alpha-numeric appelation), Clannad mixes traditional Celtic melodies and lyrics with haunting, New Age hooks and an almost pop sensibility. If you don't know who Clannad are, don't be surprised to find out that you've heard them in car commercials and at that movies. |
