"Let my worship be in the body that sings, for behold all acts of willing sacrifice are my rituals."

--From Charge of the God, Author Unknown

"Let my worship be within the heart that rejoiceth, for behold: all acts of love and pleasure are my rituals."

--From Charge of the Goddess, Authorship uncertain, but likely Doreen Valiente

I am not a Wiccan. There are some who use that term as a catch-all, because its been popularized. I prefer the term Pagan, perhaps partly for the shock value, but mostly because Wicca is an initiatory tradition (granted with several flavors that have developed over the years) and I am not an initiate. Furthermore, I have almost as many issues with Wicca as I do with the faith in which I was originally instructed.

However, there are elements of Wicca and similar traditions that speak to me. Here in this section, Tenets of Faith, will be those elements that inspire me, along with commentary and research into them.
